MOVEMENT ANALYSIS
Quantifying Movement with AI Motion Capture
PDF report output
"Assessing the body with data, not by feel."
Using the latest motion capture technology and AI motion analysis, we analyze movements such as posture, gait, and squats. By visualizing both movement and physical function, we capture posture, joint movement, left-right asymmetry, and compensatory patterns as objective data. We further integrate knowledge from health science, data science, and biomechanics, assessing each individual's physical characteristics through movement analysis grounded in biomechanics. These analysis results are then reflected in data-driven training, using scientific training methods to improve physical function and achieve more efficient, correct movement.
Basic Analysis Movements
- Squat Movement
- Sit-to-Stand Movement (Sit-Stand)
- Single-Leg Sit-to-Stand Movement (Single Leg Sit-Stand)
- Arm Elevation Movement (Arm Flexion)
- Gait (Walking Movement)
Practitioner Expertise × Movement Data
『Practitioner Experience & Knowledge + Objective Movement Data』
By combining these, we aim to deliver higher-quality physical assessments, treatment, and exercise guidance.
The practitioner reviews the physical characteristics revealed by the data, and
"What kind of movement characteristics are present?"
"What differences exist between the left and right sides?"
"What functions need to be focused on?"
"What kind of exercise or self-care would be appropriate?"
The final assessment and treatment approach are determined based on the practitioner's professional knowledge and experience, combined with the client's actual condition.

Proprietary Analysis Dashboard

This is a proprietary movement analysis dashboard developed by Physical Architect, combining knowledge from physical therapy, exercise science, and health science with the principles of data science and biomechanics. Simply by importing data captured through motion capture, it performs movement analysis using AI motion analysis — visualizing both movement and physical function. It quantifies posture, movement patterns, range of motion, left-right asymmetry, and more, objectively assessing physical characteristics through movement analysis grounded in biomechanics. It also automates comparison against healthy benchmarks and the calculation of an overall score, linking the assessment results directly to data-driven, scientific training.
1. Automatic Phase Detection
Automatically classifies movement into phases such as "standing," "descent," "lowest point," and "ascent."
2. Joint Range of Motion (ROM) Analysis
Automatically calculates the minimum, maximum, average, and range of motion for each joint.
3. Left-Right Asymmetry Analysis
Using 15% as the threshold, it visualizes left-right balance imbalances for each movement phase.
4. Comparison with Healthy Range of Motion
Cross-references the data with age-specific benchmark values to detect joints that deviate from the norm.
5. Movement Score
Provides a comprehensive score out of 100, based on symmetry, stability, compensatory movement, and mobility.
6. Report Output
Analysis results can be downloaded as Excel, PDF, or CSV files, ready for easy record-keeping and sharing.
